Sharpie777 made this neat little board as a present for his girlfriend (awww).  He writes:

Based on a first-generation 1970s HP seven segment LED display that I was given. I loved the retro feel and decided to make a proper gadget with it.

I was trying to come up with something for an Easter post, but then I came across this — this is way better. Nice job, Sharpie! I like the PCB art gift box too!

  1. That is a neat little project! I had a 3 digit display of that type a long time ago, now I need to find it.

    What is the part number for the 5 digit display? I assume no one stocks these anymore…
