    Thank you for the cats and the gals that put a charge into science!

    We live in a truly amazing time. I remember reading one of those “First Book of Electricity for Boys” type books that described building an Electrophorus.

    It was somewhat complicated. You had to get a pie pan, pour a layer of petroleum pitch into it, find a hunk of plate glass, cover it with tin foil and figure out how to attach a wood dowel handle and then get yourself some woolen cloth.

    And Jeri builds one with a chunk of styrene box filler, a dob of hot glue, a pill bottle and a hard drive platter. And then charges it up with a cat. Love it!
