Is it just me, or is it extremely odd that adafruit would get a C&D from a “non-profit” for promoting the organization’s events?
Perhaps over-zealousness on their part, but what are they afraid would happen?

@sky – yah, it’s a puzzle. we think it was really bizarre, so much so we didn’t even want to waste time figuring out what their issue was so we replaced our post with their email to us.

Meh, best way of handling it. I like the “drop it and let the law of unintended consequences take over” to be applied in these cases. I guess they believe that no publicity is best.

The summer reading program at my local library starts on Thursday. I know that our children’s librarian would LOVE the publicity. Let’s do a post about that!

I’m more of a winter-time learner anyways.

Am I the only one that noticed the link in the C&D takes me to this post? Kate must have been predicting the future.
