The Balancing Cube

The Balancing Cube can balance on any of its edges or corners. It owes this ability to six mechanisms on each inner face that rotate in concert and achieve equilibrium for the overall system. Each of the mechanisms is an autonomous unit with sensors, a computer, a motor, and a battery on board. The six mechanism share information and coordinate themselves over a network of their computers.
