I think it’s very interesting that he got such different contrast results with the paper and developer he was using. Also, it’s hard to tell from the smaller images but it looks like he got much better detail than I was able to get.
I wonder if he’s leaving a step out or something. I’ve used Ilfospeed and Neofin Blue before and I never got anything that looked like that. It almost appears that the fixer was bad, because it has that unfixed haziness to it.

If you scroll down he does say he used “fixer of unknown provenance”.

Yes, I read that. I guess I gave him too much crediting for assuming he would know if the fixer was actually working.
All in all, it seems like he was in too much of a rush.
Maybe when his photos fade to black, he’ll learn.
