Twitter rolled out “lists” so we’ve made an Open source hardware list on Twitter. Makers and companies that create open source hardware. We’re adding folks as we type this, hopefully it will never be “done”.

Limor,
Could we get Contraptor.org added to the list?

What list? It’s just the usual twitter drivel, there isn’t a list there.

bert – it seems not all twitter users can view lists yet. if it’s all “drivel” perhaps you’re being spared

I don’t know if I’m seeing what I’m supposed to be seeing or not, but I have to agree that I’m not sure how useful this is.
Is a list just an easy way to follow a number of feeds without having to add them individually (i.e., you publish the list and I can add it without needing to add each individually)?
I like the idea of info about open source hardware, but I guess I won’t bother if it’s going to be full of things like what people are listening to or watching right now.

Can you add in “StackFoundry”? We’re new to the field but have been designing several development board products, with published schematics and board layouts.

hi yann, can you post some links here to the:
-source code, schematics, board files.
-the OSH license you’re using, usually CC share-alike, attrib, commercial use allowed
we checked out the site but couldn’t find it.

Our mistake. In the haste of getting all of all of our BOMs in order, the ordering in place, and working out any last hardware kinks, the web content was on the back burner. Its still largely incomplete (the datasheet isn’t up, the main website doesn’t have complete information, etc), but we have posted the licenses and schematics/board files. The license we are using is CreativeCommons Attribution Share-Alike.
Thanks for prodding us to get our act together
