OK… what battery is that SUPPOSED to be? I have a flashlight like that and the closest i can find is a 18500. It could be a 24500 IF somebody actually made it (24mm is ’sub C’). There is a 26500 BUT that wouldn’t fit. I pick on the adapter because mine is loose and you have to really tweak things just to get it to work. I live in earthquake country so having things that work reliably is something i like.
This is awesome! My friend has tons of these torches lying around. I wonder if HaD is posting the PCB layout or anything. *looks*

It’s 4 AAA batteries in a plastic holder. Many such LED mini-torches have battery packs like that.
