When will you carry self-sealing stem bolts?

Sweet, you have no idea how many of those I’ve cracked. How many tessapates of land would you pay for those self-sealing stembolts?

as a bicycle framebuilder, this smacks of stupidity to me.. largely because the only sections of biking in need of a stem this sturdy who can handle the weight imbalance it would put towards the front of the bike… are bmx and freeride/dh bikes. and in those situations, where high-risk stunts are being done.. having a sharp brick of 6061 aluminum for a stem is very stupid. with the frequency that you bail out in freeride and bmx, having the risk of falling onto a corner of aluminum is totally unneeded.
this is also unsuitable for road bikes, because of the weight imbalance it would put towards the front of the bike.
in addition, if you’re machining a stem, it would be trivial to make it slightly smaller, much lighter (grooves, etc.), and round the corners.
so, i have no idea what they were going for with this.
