Light posting day today… we were out with our friend Marc checking out this machine in PA!

Fully-Automatic SMD Placement System with Flying and Bottom Vision! Bench Top Pick-and-Place Solution Handles 0402s, CSPs, BGAs, and Even QFPs Less Than 20 Mil…Right Out-of-the-Box The result of 35 years of experience in bench-top pick-and-place equipment, the Manncorp 7722FV sets exciting new standards for price, performance, and ease-of-use. Head-mounted “flying” vision and “bottom-vision” cameras with integrated vision processing software allow the 7722FV to handle nearly the full breadth of your SMT component inventory. It even places 0201s with individual tape feeder and 0201 nozzle options. With 54 individual 8 mm tape feeders installed, the 7722FV accepts large PCBs up to 390 mm x 310 mm (15.35″ x 12.2″) and still has enough room remaining for 7 lanes of vibratory stick/IC tube feeders.

Stop breadboarding and soldering – start making immediately! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is jam-packed with LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clip pads and more. Build projects with Circuit Playground in a few minutes with the drag-and-drop MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on code.org, jump into CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, TinyGO, or even use the Arduino IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, with support for CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. A whole wide world of electronics and coding is waiting for you, and it fits in the palm of your hand.

  1. Is this going to assemble Adafruit kits from now on ? 🙂

  2. You forgot to mention that you can program it to transform into Optimus Prime.

Congratulations on taking your assembly automation to the next level 😉

  3. What’s your plan for the oven? Did you figure out the hotplate system with profile control?

Very cool stuff. Looks like a capable tidy unit!

  4. Don’t worry, we will still have kits. We just want to augment our abilities!

Dave, We have a ‘standard issue skillet’ for hot-plate reflow. One of our future projects is showing how to make a lead-free profile controller with an arduino. We’ll also have full dox about pnp machines so if you’re interested in getting one, let us know. (We did -a lot- of research)

  5. That’d be great! We’ve been shopping for a unit ourselves for a while, so I’d love to see what you dug up.

  6. Dave, if you can hold off for a few weeks we’ll have fantastic documentation up showing our research findings and of course videos of how to operate the machine 🙂

  7. Heh – will do. We’re still just settling in from a major office (physical) reorganization anyways.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys do with it!
