Repurpose, documentary on hacker spaces via Bre

A documentary film by Jack Oatmon. A look into the hardware hacking community in Montreal, including the Foulab collective. Why are more and more hobbyists experimenting with hacks and circuit bends? What relationship does this imply about consumer society and technological advancement? Is this a real-world analog of ‘user generated content’?

  1. I love the idea of these ‘hacker spaces’. I pretty much have my own electronics lab (and various mechanical tools as well) here at my house, but if I ever manage to move to a larger city I’d love to pool my equipment with other people and collaborate and have a better space for doing what I love.
